New Model Packaging is an integral part of the Material Planning & Logistics delivering all of the packaging & containerisation for all new models and respective model year changes. The role of Packaging Engineer is to manage the planning, development and implementation of all pallet developments for all new models and model year introductions, liaising with pallet manufacturers for the design of special pallets.

Main Responsibilities

•； Manage the planning, development and implementation of all pallet developments for all New Models and Model Year introductions across all sites, liaising with pallet manufacturers for the design of special pallets. 管理规划、制定和实施所有新车型和年型车的托盘设计开发工作，协同托盘制造商设计的特殊的托盘。
•； Co-ordinate the buy-off for new containers and liaise with the related MP&L, Manufacturing, Purchasing, H&S and Quality areas as appropriate. 协调相关联的物流商、采购、制造单位、H&S、质量相关单位达成一致意见，购买新的容器。
•； Manage the input of data into JLR Packaging Databases, producing metrics as required and maintain own suppliers information. 管理包装数据输入至JLR包装数据库，维护生产所需的指标和自己的供应商信息
•； Maintain the Packaging Manufacturing Standards Document. 维护包装器具制造标准文件
•； Support management activities through development and monitoring of timing plans.通过制定和监控时间表支持管理活动
•； Manage Packaging Capital Budget for New Models and Model Year changes. 管理新车型和年型车变化带来的包装预算
•； Provide a packaging design/procurement service where funding is available on current models for the Current Packaging Team. 对于当前的包装团队，在当前车型资金可行的情况下，提供包装设计/采购的相关服务
