R&D Technician

The purpose of job is to operate lab reactor, do organic synthesis and simply analysis (titration, GC, et al) under the authority of responsible engineer

- Support lab management and equipment maintenances activities

- Ensure technical activities are following company HSEQ policies

- Complete test request on time with high quality

- Other work requirements from line manager

ACTIVITIES

• Follow up company HSEQ policy and procedure;

• Ensure reactor and equipment in good condition and reliability;

• Be responsible for the chemical management, including taking chemicals from plant; safely handle various chemicals;

• Keep regularly experimental data and operational records and provide regular reports as required;

• Operate organic synthesis, emulsion preparation and install simple equipment independently.

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

• The OP lab is one important lab in CRDC activities. The activities cover synthesis process, purification process and related chemical analysis;  

• It also involved the support work from lab scale to pilot scale which help to resolve different kinds of problem in industrials and customer.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Organic synthesis or analytical basis;

• Chemistry, chemical analysis is a plus;  

• College degree and above is a plus.

• good experience in lab experiments.

• Willing to develop experimental and process skills

• Team spirit, clear mind and quick learner.

• English speaking is a plus.
